A Calling Visa is a special entry permit required for nationals from specific countries to enter Indonesia. This visa is necessary due to certain ideological, political, economic, social, cultural, security, or immigration considerations associated with these countries. This Visa in Indonesia allows nationals from specific countries to enter for a short period, usually 30 days, when they must apply for a regular visa at the Indonesian immigration office. 

FYI (!) The list of countries includes Afghanistan, Guinea, Israel, North Korea, Cameroon, Liberia, Niger, Nigeria, and Somalia.

  • Letter of guarantee from the Guarantor
  • Recommendation from the Strategic Intelligence Agency (BAIS) of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) for activities in conflict areas that pose a threat to the presence and security of Calling Visa citizens
  • Permanent Resident Card for visa applications submitted outside the home country
