D12 – Multiple Entry Pre-Investment Visa

Multiple Entry Pre-Investment Visa allows you to enter and exit Indonesia as many times as you need during the visa’s validity, which can range from 1 to 2 years. This visa is ideal for investors or business persons who need to frequently visit Indonesia to explore investment opportunities without the hassle of applying for a new visa each time. You can stay in Indonesia for up to 60 days per visit, with the option to extend your stay twice, adding 60 days each time, for a total of 180 days per visit. After 180 days, you must leave the country but can re-enter anytime, starting a new 60-day stay with the same extension options.

FYI (!) This Visa not designed for full-time employment or conducting business operations. If your intention is to engage in these activities, you should consider applying for the appropriate visa, such as a Business Visa or a Working KITAS.

Business Activities

Conducting activities related to start a business, including but not limited to field surveys and/or feasibility studies.

Visit Activities

Conducting activities related to tourism, and visiting friends or family.

Document Requirements

  • Passport that is valid for at least 6 (six) months
  • A recent color photograph.
  • Curriculum Vitae.
  • Personal bank statement with minimum amount USD $5000 or equivalent the last 3 months period (including name, date of period, and balance account).
  • Information/invitations/correspondence from government agency or private institution explaining the relationship with applicants. (Provide by GMS)

Important Notes

  • Have sufficient living expenses while in Indonesia.
  • Staying in Indonesia over the period of your stay permit
  • You are prohibited from selling goods or services.
  • You are prohibited from receiving rewards, wages, or any similar from individuals or corporations in Indonesia.
  • Please note that the validity period of the visa is different from the period of stay, please check your visa for information on the period of stay.

Frequently Asked Questions

Once you’ve successfully obtained your E-Visa, you’ll have a 90-day window to enter Indonesia from the release date.
It’s important to note that while holding the D12 Pre-Investment Multiple Entry Visa, you are prohibited to work in accordance with Indonesian regulations.
The Multiple Entry Pre-Investment Visa is extendable for another six months (maximum one year per entry)
